How Master Finish Implemented Automation to Improve Production and Boost Customer Satisfaction

As companies in the manufacturing industry face increasing challenges with production labor, it is becoming more critical to automate tedious tasks that are currently being done manually. 


Master Finish, led by the engineering expertise of its owners John and Aaron Mulder, has prioritized automation of its plating lines since 2008. Today, all three of Master Finish’s plating lines are fully automated and other automation processes are being implemented, both on and off the shop floor, to improve all-around operations. This focus has led to a more streamlined and effective production and reduced scrap, resulting in greater customer satisfaction. As the company grows, they are continually optimizing their operational processes and getting ahead of some of the issues other companies in the industry are facing.
