Cyclemaster Remastered

Master Finish’s new plating line is now ready for business. Back before the pandemic swept the country and production plating demands were at an all time high Master Finish invested into a new state of the art automated rack plating line capable of plating in both interior and exterior grade finishes on high volume production parts made from steel or stainless steel. This plating equipment is able to process high volume work at a price point lower than Master Finish is capable of hitting on our existing hoist based plating line. We are looking now to find the right opportunities for the line that can help the right supplier partner reduce their plating costs and improve the quality of the finish work they are having done.

How is our technology different? Here are a few key improvements we have made with this new plating line:

Power supply is now digital. Most plating lines are running using outdate silicone diode rectification which has ripple and has an efficiency of 60 to 80%. New digital switch mode rectifiers are far more efficient up to 95%. Switch mode rectifiers have controls that are far more precise in adjustment. This allows us to better tune our plating process to the needs of your product. Older technology may allow adjustment to the nearest 100 amps. We now can prescribe the power supplied to the nearest amp.

Motion controls are enhanced by using electric motors and servo drives. Older technology moved racks using hydraulic lines and pumps. Not only were they less energy efficient, there was a risk of hydraulic oil leaking into plating tanks and causing failures in the chemical processing of your parts. This could lead to scrap and higher electric costs. Electric motors and servo drives give the Master Finish plating team experts added functionality with many of the attributes of the rack movements.
